Product Management
Define what's worth building.
Fellows scope the problem, run primary research, and pressure-test the assumptions a team has been operating under. The output is a clear point of view on what to build and why.
About
Each quarter we assemble teams of fellows across product management, design, and marketing, then pair them with a company team on a live problem. Fellows learn the craft by practicing it under people who do it for a living, and partners get research, strategy, and prototypes they can act on.

What We Do
Every engagement is staffed across all three, so a brief moves from question to research to something testable without stalling at a handoff.
Product Management
Fellows scope the problem, run primary research, and pressure-test the assumptions a team has been operating under. The output is a clear point of view on what to build and why.
UI/UX Design
Findings become interfaces teams can react to. Fellows move from user flows through to high-fidelity prototypes, so a direction can be evaluated before engineering invests in it.
Marketing
Fellows examine how a product is positioned against its alternatives and where the story breaks down, from first impression through onboarding.
Where to Next
Join a cohort, learn product management, design, or marketing by doing it, and ship work for a company team before you graduate.
Put a cross-functional student team on a problem your roadmap keeps deferring, and get research, strategy, and prototypes back.
Our Story
Four UW students opened the chapter in 2024, joining a national Product Space network now 13 chapters strong. Two cohorts of fellows have since shipped work for teams across consumer tech, enterprise software, and consulting. Our third cohort begins this fall, with applications opening in autumn quarter.

What Clients Say
“Working with Product Space gave our team fresh perspective on an important focus area of our business. The students brought genuine curiosity, did their own primary research, and challenged assumptions we had been operating under internally. Their work produced insights that are directly informing how we think about onboarding and competitive positioning.”
